Many thanks to the Perez family!

My DH brought home the mail today and there was this wonderful package from the Perez family! They were my hair accessory swap family this month. The ironic thing about this match was that I was their secret pal from the beginning, and just revealed our identity last month! It was SO FUN to exchange with them again! Leilani got a big variety of Gymboree hair accessories, flowers, ladybugs, and little summer drinks. So cute! I can’t wait to se these in her hair! In addition, Mary Rose gave Leilani a book by Steven Curtis Chapman, Christmas Miracle with a sweet inscription from Mary Rose to Leilani. We will look forward to many readings of this book waiting for Christmas! Thanks again for all the specially chosen items, we love them all! Jan

Thank You Clark Family Secret Pal!

We received another wonderful package from our super duper secret pal. January's theme is "Chinese New Year and Year of the Pig". SP was very creative in their gift ideas. We love them! The piggy bank is so colourful and the stuffed piggy is adorable. And Miss Daisy loved her chew bone. She quickly chewed it all up.

Thank you so much! You are the greatest!

The Appletons Receive "Chinese New Year" Goodies!

Well our secret pals certainly surprised us with this month's goody box. The theme was "Chinese New Year" and we had NO idea what to expect. Mr. and Mrs. Secret Pal tried to send us some things that we could pull out each year when we celebrate the Chinese New Year. They sent a book called, "ChinaTown", a calendar about China with the prettiest pictures of China in it, a wooden Chinese girl statue, an ornament made of Chinese coins, a Chinese lantern that lights up, a beautiful scroll with Chinese writing on it (the box that it came in also is JUST written in Chinese). They also sent a BEAUTIFUL Chinese New Year card (I haven't been able to find these anywhere). Whoever they are, they sure go way above and beyond what we expected from Secret Pals. They always send us the kindest cards and emails (anonymously, of course) and each month we look sooooooooooooooooooooo forward to seeing what will arrive on our doorstep. They are the BEST! Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Secret Pal!

Thanks Gollnick Secret Pal!!!

Thank so much to our terrific SP!! I am listening to the CNY CD while I type this and it is just lovely! Please don't worry about wrapping our gifts...I don't wrap my SP gifts either!! I figure that they come in a box that you have to open:) I love the books (I am a big fan of lift the flap books, object perm., making predictions all that good stuff) and the Chinese language map is VERY cool! I can't wait for my husband to see it! Thank you for including the things that you wished that you had brought the first time to China. I would have never have thought to bring the bleach pen! I will put the cups and orajel in my draw of travle stuff ( yes, I actually have one with all kinds of loot in it). Thank you again for the goodies this month and every month! You are the best! Happy New Year!!

Maryellen, Chris, Ben, Hannah and some day soon please Sophie!!

Thanks from the Lindbergs in Sweden

Another marvellous box has arrived from our great Secret Pals! Our curious cats checked it out as I unpacked all the Chinese New Year goodies, such as fortune cookies (I've actually never had one of these before...), jasmine tea, beautiful decorations, chop sticks, a wonderful fan, a paper doll and much more!! We are officially ready to celebrate the year of the Pig! I really hope that one day we will go together to that nice Dim Sum place you have found! But hopefully we'll meet in China before that.

We really appreciate your generosity and all the thought you put into our presents!

Happy Year of the Pig!

Thank you to the Totten Family Secret Pal. We have been spoiled yet again. This month we received a stuffed pig, blue silk asian print box, a bounce and giggle pig(which scares the dogs-so we keep pressing the nose), a musical cart bar cover, and fortune cookies. How cute is all the pig stuff! Thank you for everything you do--It makes the wait much easier.
